Take the World at new Level

3 tips for new tennis club members

Well, first let me tell you…

Happy New Year!

At least he’s in Kansai today!

I was helping a club in Nara do this yesterday and wanted to share it with other club owners today in this post.

Listen, because…

“These are 3 things that all tennis club owners should be doing and they are not new, but that is not the point here, the point is whether or not you are doing them.”

one). Testimonials.

The moment your member has shown you that they like your service and club is the moment you need to write a testimonial for you.

Also print it with your words, not theirs.

That could mean grammatical errors!

It should sound like they wrote it, so never edit them.

two). Repeat negotiations.

Keep looking for more ways to sell members of your presence.

Now, this could be by getting them to sign up for private lessons, more group lessons, or other events at the club.

Create cool weekly themes and promote them through direct mail, emails, or just give them a call to get them to spend more time in your club. (the more time they spend there, the more money your club generates).

Be and stay creative, the opportunities for repeat business are unreal when you start to deepen the relationship you have with current members.

3). References.

As we talked before.

You have to earn them and you have to be ruthless to ask for them after you have earned them.

Not aggressively.

But more strategically and tactically!

The best way is by hosting a “Member Appreciation Event”.

Host an event for your tennis partners and ask them to bring all their friends and family.

Put on great food and have free clinics in the morning and rotating shifts in the afternoon, with lots of giveaways and deals.

“Then make sure your staff gets the personal information of everyone who’s not a member who came.”

Follow up with all of them within 2 days of the event and thank them for coming and give them another free offer of some kind.

As a matter of fact.

These events can really triple your earnings in months if done right!

Well, copy and print this post and post it so you remember to do it sometime next year.

I’ll be talking to you tennis club owners soon!
