It has been more than a year since the Covid19 pandemic hit the world. What are you going to do now? First, I am not a doctor, I do not even have experience in the medical field. My background is in the security and locks business. I have a lot of common sense and can separate exaggeration from reality.

Unfortunately, it was an election year when this virus hit. That made him political. Both parties should be ashamed of themselves. I honestly think that if politics hadn’t been involved, fewer people would have died. Decisions were made based on politics, not what was best for the American people. That continues today.

The media has also become political. I remember a time when when you tuned in to the news you felt that you were receiving the truth without prejudice. Today that too is very different, and that difference has cost American lives as well. The media are very quick to report anything without doing their own research. This leads to misinformation being given to people, again costing lives.

Fortunately, people have come to realize this and are now getting their news from multiple sources they trust. So newspapers are shutting down and people are “cutting the wire” to go to what they want to stream.

So what should you do now? Well, it appears that infections, hospitalizations, and deaths are on the decline. The consensus of medical experts is that by fall we should be back to normal, whatever it is. You must do what seems right to you. Use your common sense. Get your news from as many different sources as you can.

In my opinion, everyone should get vaccinated. I realize that there has been some resistance from some people. I think this resistance is related to age. People over 60 were rushed to get the vaccine when it was offered, after all, they were the age group that was dying. The younger generations not so much.

Think of it this way, more than 95% of all Americans have been vaccinated against polio, measles, mumps, and other childhood diseases. How many children and babies would have died if their parents refused to vaccinate them?

Since adults are your choice, do your research, be sure to research several reputable sources. Look for sources that DO NOT agree with your position, so you can get a clear picture of the other side. Then make the decision that is best for you.
