Delta-8’s Totally Legal
I’ve been reading a lot about Delta Airlines and their new business jet, the Delta 8. It’s totally legal! That’s a good way to start off an article about legal flying! (I’m sure you’ll agree) Still, I’d like to go into a little more detail about what makes this plane so unique and how it is operated.
First of all, it is completely legal! Yes, that’s right, Delta Airlines says it’s completely legal and that they have every right to sell millions of dollars worth of airplane tickets each year! Now that may seem surprising to some people, but it is totally true. In fact, Delta is one of just a handful of airlines that is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration to fly airplanes.
The thing is, there are many different kinds of planes that people fly. For instance, private planes, military planes, charter planes, cargo planes, etc. There are a wide variety of different planes that people fly every day, so why limit yourself? You want to fly whatever you want! That’s the beauty of freedom and mobility. So Delta Airlines decided to create the Delta8, which is basically a smaller and more affordable version of Air Force One or even a Global Traveler.

If you fly a regular plane you can understand the challenges inherent in flying. There are many things that may go wrong and you don’t always know when the other person has done something illegal. You also don’t know for sure if the weather conditions are acceptable or not. This can cause problems in a hurry because if you’re in a rush you can’t afford to wait for the weather to be above or below a certain altitude. It all adds up and that’s why the Delta8 is so unique. It’s completely legal!
It’s important to note that even though the airplane is small it’s extremely stable and extremely smooth. Even though the airplane isn’t as big as some of the larger planes people fly, you still feel as though you’re traveling at high altitude. People who use the Delta-8 realize that there’s plenty of room, the seats are comfortable, and most importantly the airplane isn’t going to crash or burn into the ground. This is all thanks to the American Air Force and their fighter pilots who designed and built the Delta-8.
Now you’re probably wondering how many times a year the plane is taken out of commission due to bad weather, and other issues. Well the answer is that very seldom! With Delta-8’s being such a dependable aircraft, Delta Air Lines takes safety quite seriously and they have a team of dedicated pilots and technicians who monitor and fine tune the airplane on a daily basis. So you can fly your personal aircraft on the open skies of the USA without worrying about it crashing into an asphalt parking lot or a tree!
